Faithful old friend on Flickr.
This is a portrait of our good old dog, Tucker. He’s been our faithful companion for almost 14 years now.
I like the detail of his face that the camera captured — the color of individual hairs on his face, how they are red near his nose but white as you go up his face — and the softness of his eyes.
Silk Flowers on Flickr.
Some silk flowers in the sunlight and shadow of my family room.
I like the interplay of brightness on the flowers in the foreground, but the shadows in the background.
Sunrise over the lake near my house. I run very early in the morning and I love seeing the sun come up when I do. I usually have my iPhone with me and if it’s a particularly nice sunrise, I try to capture it. Not the greatest camera on the earth, but it’s good for going on a run.
